ADCVD on Paper Shopping Bags 

ADCVD Investigation on Certain Paper Shopping Bags from Cambodia, China, Colombia, India, Malaysia, Portugal, Taiwan, Turkey, and Vietnam.

On May 31, 2023, a domestic coalition of U.S. manufacturers filed a Petition to the U.S. Department of Commerce requesting an ADCVD investigation against certain Paper Shopping Bags manufactured in 9 countries: Cambodia, China, Colombia, India, Malaysia, Portugal, Taiwan, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Following this clarification questions (including scope issues) were issued to the petitioners by Commerce, and on June 6th, the ITC initiated investigation Nos. 701–TA–690–691 and 731–TA–1619–1627 (Preliminary) as regard the injury determination.
